Cooking pot dayz

I want to go hunting/fishing and I need to use the pot to cook the meat since food is scarce now. However with the change that you cant put meat directly on fire it is hard to work this.

Just don't drink from it. Use it to store water and items. Pour water from the pot into a canteen and drink from the canteen. While i am aware that the cooking system is far from fleshed out,i believe that it should play a big role in the game.
