If the air was lukewarm at all the vents, then it's entirely possible that the heater core away the problem. If, as you said, it was only the drivers side, then replacing the core didn't do a thing and the issue will likely return. There is one heater core. There is either air in the coolant lines, or a stuck thermostat. There is a bleeder valve on the top of the thermostat. You may have to remove the air intake to get at it, then use a screw driver to turn the bleeder valve to release the air until the cooler starts spitting out.

Beginning in 2012 with the 3.6 Chrysler went to a variable speed fan, basically low-med-high. A 3.6 will usually run at 210-230 with the AC off.
