HELL YES. Yes, especially if you are running a Behemoth build. With the right build you can borderline survive just about anything in PVE. Not particularly in high level content. I tried all sorts of swords and the only one that felt reliable to guard with was Crownsplitter. Lament and others got broken way faster.
